Yesterday, the Kenya Kwanza leader traversed four counties considered to be his strongholds including West Pokot, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Nandi and Uasin Gishu.

Ruto addressed several rallies at Nandi Hills and Kesses Constituency in Uasin Gishu County where he urged residents to turn up in large numbers and elect the Ruto-Rigathi Gachagua ticket.

On Monday afternoon, the Kenya Kwanza team campaigned in Moiben, Moiben Constituency, Chelang’a Gardens in Kapenguria Constituency, Tot, Marakwet East Constituency and Iten in Keiyo North Constituency.

His main rival Raila Odinga pitched tent in Nairobi where he held meetings with boda boda riders and a group of women from the Muslim community.
