Speaking in Marsabit town, Ruto criticised the curfew imposed by the government in the county to curb rampant insecurity.

“The imposition of curfews to manage insecurity in any part of the country is short-term; it is not the solution to the problem,” he said.

He said the Kenya Kwanza alliance will manage the insecurity situation in the county better should it win the presidency next month.

“Kenya Kwanza will prioritise security and the opening up of marginal areas as a long-term plan to maintaining peace and stability,” he added.
